Edward comes marching out on stage, looking aggravated. He walks up to the microphone and clears his throat while Lust assists a limping Roy.

Edward: Can I have your attention, please? We, the cast of Voluspa, regret to inform you that the conclusion of this story has been delayed on account of ... video game.

He glares in the direction of a side room, where game sound effects can be heard.

Edward: A certain someone ...

He turns his glare toward Roy.

Edward: ... neglected to fulfil his duty as Kinslayer's keeper and prevent this from happening.

Roy: Fullmetal, how do you expect me to be anybody's keeper when I can't even walk on my own?

Edward: Don't make excuses. You should have found a way.

Roy looks disgruntled.

Edward: At any rate, the actors are in place, the weather is cooperating, all we need is the script. So please do not blame us for the delay in the release of the next section. Thank you.

Roy: And remember Fullmetal, if you feel like you're in danger from Scar at any time, tell a trusted adult.

Edward: At least nobody is making comments about the tightness of my ass.


(yes, I have Crimson Elixir and no willpower, and those who watch my personal journal already know. perhaps it was unnecessary to post this, but y'know, I did it anyway)

Heh, figured this will happen.

Your best bet is to get Hime to draw the fanart and then WITHHOLD it until the story is complete. I can guarantee he'll write like the wind if he knows there is fanart to look forward to at the end of it!

Naww, you know I love fanart. :) But [info]herongale's suggestion of withholding it to make me write faster is more likely to make me say "forget it."

Actually, Anax tells me he'd be unhappy if he knew that fanart was done and being actively withheld. So, although I think my idea is theoretically good, I'm not sure I can advise it. Risky.

...y'know, it's ironic, but I was about to post the very same :D

(Well, the part about soul being sucked by Crimson Elixir, minus all the humorous bits and the part about not updating. *snort* Like I EVER update :D

But if you want to know what the literal translation is of any of the lines at any point, let me know. I only just started, so I could try to remember to keep an eye out ^^)
